Life in the Left Pond

I have fulfilled nearly all the tastes of American life I wanted.

• Shopped at Wal Mart - (what's the big deal?)
  
• Swum in the Pacific - great
  
• Visited Ripley's believe it or not (waste of $15)
  
• Eaten clam chowder (wonderful
• Understood what a lap dance is
• Drove over the Golden Gate Bridge
• Heard a waitress saying - My name is Juniper and I'm your server for today
• Experienced a micro brewery - fantastic
• Hugged a redwood tree
• Cuddled a gay guy dressed in drag and didn't feel bad about it
• Brought real duct tape
  

My only one left is to be arrested but I think I'll skip this one. The policeman I did meet was polite, amusing and gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Still here

I'm still in California. I might even have a few hours to get up to date with my blog and the others. Californians are uniformly polite and wonderful people. I will have so much to write about now. Mrs E. misses me and I miss her. Still, this has been a great work experience except for the incident with the headless female torso which I did not enjoy. Stay tuned for the full, gory details.

Here I am. Sunny California with new laptop in a hotel room you could raise six kids in. Much more later.

First time I've linked to myself. I'm travelling until next month and beyond and now I have a laptop. Yes, decades in electronics and software and this is the first laptop I ever had.

California here I come! Via Frankfurt, Chicago, back through LA, Toronto, Frankfurt again then home. A quick trip to Stuttgart and a few days at home.

I'm revamping the blog but it's slow and too low on my to do list.
