Why I don’t live in the US no 757

The barbaric and wasteful use of the death penalty. Convicted murderers and similar should be kept alive as long as possible in order to feel their remorse (if any) for longer and at the very least work for peanuts to contribute to society.

I have it my mind that it costs more to execute someone in the USA than it does to keep them in prison. I find it hard to believe that anyone will be detered by this.

It is a nice thought, but remorse is not something that many feel. Tookie Williams never apologized. He never offered any assistance to the police in solving any crimes he had knowledge of nor did he really do anything to improve himself or society.
