Weather and hospitals

While Cathy shivers in London, here it's hot. Steaming, wet dripping kind of hot that has me gasping. Another day spent in emergency rooms as eldest daughter rushed back from work around midnight with severe stomach pains. After several hours, she was admitted for observation by the excellent Rambaum staff.

She's OK but needs further tests. This after an ultrasound examination, an X-Ray and a CT scan with the normal blood tests. Better here than in India where she proposes to be in a few weeks. Whilst bringing her some edible food to supplement the hospital diet, we noticed a woman crying in the next bed. She'd been badly beaten up by unknown attackers and was very scared. What had she done wrong? Asked for a divorce from her Arab husband. Sometimes I'm ashamed to be male.
